New Jewish Cemetery

New Jewish Cemetery was opened in 1890 and due to its size and number of tombstones, it is the largest Jewish cemetery in the Czech Republic. Visitors can see tombstones of various architectural styles, ranging from neo-Gothic, through Renaissance, Art Nouveau, Classicism until the present. A tomb of Franz Kafka, the important Jewish writer, is one of the most popular ones.
